George R. Boyton, Jr.'s Obituary
Manville, NJ- George R. Boyton, Jr., 77, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at home with loving family by his side. Born in Springfield, NJ, son of the late George R. and Ida M. (nee Smith) Boyton he was raised in South Plainfield by his second father, Emile Dietzold. He became a Manville resident in 1984.
George was a graduate of South Plainfield High School. He was a lover of hot rod cars and enjoyed fishing. George was a former employee of Buy-Rite Auto Parts in South Plainfield and retired after many years of dedicated employment with Somerset County in the Recycling Division as a truck driver.
Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey Dietzold.
George is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Catherine "Nina" Boyton, with whom he joined hands in marriage on February 13, 1970. He will be deeply missed by three cherished children, Donald Sardano and his wife Giselle of California, George R. Boyton, III and his significant other, Mandi Rumion of California, and Peter M. Boyton of Manville; four adored grandchildren, Jonathan Sardano, Ariana Sardano, Serena Sardano, and Nicholas Sardano; and dear siblings, Patricia Guglielmi and Frank E. Dietzold.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835. Memorial contributions may be made in George's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
