Obituary

Manville, NJ- George E. Eurick, 76, entered into eternal life on Friday, August 8, 2014 at home surrounded by loving family. Born in Queens, NY, son of the late George E. Eurick, Sr. and Margaret (Gummo) Eurick, he was raised in Hillsborough and has been a resident of Manville since 1965.

George was honorably discharged from the United States Navy having faithfully served his country as a SFP3. He retired in 2012 from M.U.A. of Hillsborough after twenty-seven dedicated years of employment as a foreman. He was a member of the Bridgewater United Methodist Church. George was an avid collector of model railroading.

Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his former wife, Alice Eurick in 2004; and dear son, John E. Eurick.

George leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of eight years, Anne H. (Greiner) Eurick, with whom he joined hands in marriage on March 5, 2006; two loving sons, George Eurick and wife Teri of Chicago, IL, David Eurick and wife Cheryl of Chicago, IL; dear stepchildren, Scott DeSantis of Manville, Luanne DeSantis of Westminster, CA and Adam DeSantis and wife Denise of Manville; dear siblings, Dorothy Melonchik and husband William of Hillsborough, Marge and husband Edward Butler of Anaheim, CA, Fred Eurick and wife Karen of Frenchtown, and Robert Eurick and wife Jamie of Hillsborough. He will be deeply missed by sixteen cherished grandchildren and three adored great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, August 14 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, August 15 from 9-9:45 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15 beginning 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at Bound Brook Cemetery, 500 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ 08805 with Rev. Christina Zito officiating from the Bridgewater United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made in George's name to Bridgewater United Methodist Church, 651 Country Club Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
