Manville, NJ- Glenn W. Maindelle, 67, entered eternal life on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital- Somerset, with his loving family at his side. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ to the late Richard and Mary (Szerdy) Maindelle, Glenn was raised in Edison before settling to Manville in 2000.

Glenn's passion was fishing, which led him to own and operate "Captain Slaughter", a charter fishing boat out of the Belmar Marina. Glenn faithfully served his country in the United Sates Army from 1966 to 1968, earning the rank of SP4. He was retired from the New Jersey Turnpike Authority after 25 years of dedicated service as a heavy equipment operator and later worked at M & A Recycling in Hillsborough where he will be deeply missed by his coworkers there. Glenn also liked to take trips to Atlantic City.

Besides his parents, Glenn was predeceased by his brother Richard.

Glenn leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted daughter Jennifer Maindelle and his former wife and friend, Gail Maindelle, both of Manville. He will be greatly missed by his brother Bob of Sayreville and sister-in-law Charlotte of TX, as well as nephews; Bob and Andy Maindelle and his best friend Mike of Manville.

A Memorial Service to honor Glenn's life will be held on Saturday, June 28, from 5-8 p.m. at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.
