Hillsborough, NJ-Helen (Lengyel) Perhach, 87, entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Rahway, NJ, daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Kozar) Lengyel, Helen was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough.

Helen was a retail sales manager with Reinhardts in Somerville, she also worked at the Circus Shop in Somerville, and retired from Johnson & Johnson in Bridgewater where she was a quality control worker. Helen was a parishioner of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough and was very dedicated to the church having assisted with bingo, dinners, and setting up the church for Christmas. She was an avid knitter and quilter.


Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband, Edward Perhach in 1970 and a granddaughter, Cherie Leigh Everett.

Helen leaves behind her two loving children, daughter and son-in-law, Barbara J. Everett and Roger of Jeffersonton, VA and son Robert E. Perhach of Branchburg; dear sister, Elizabeth Betty Stano and her husband Michael of Ringoes; sister-in-laws, Catherine Lengyel and Mary Lengyel. She will be deeply missed by five cherished grandchildren, Carey Anne Everett Lewis, Christopher Everett and his wife Brandy, Robert Edward Perhach, Jr., Stephen F. Perhach and his wife Cara, and Ashlee Perhach and three precious great grandchildren, Samantha Jewel, Rylee Shea and Connor Lee.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, July 5 from 3:30- 7:30 p.m., with the Parastas at 4:00 p.m. Additionally visitation will be on Saturday, July 6 from 8:15 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6 beginning 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough. Helen will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
