Obituary

Manville, NJ- Helen (Melnyk) Snook, 87, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Jersey City, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Melnyk, she resided in Manville most of her life.



Helen retired from Ethicon in Bridgewater where she was an assembly line worker after twenty-six years of dedicated employment and was a faithful communicant of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.



Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband George E. Snook, Sr. in 1972 and by her dear daughter Georgianna Wilk in 1988.

Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, George E. Snook, Jr. of Manville and Gregory Snook and his wife Judy of Branchburg; a dear son-in-law Dennis Wilk and his wife Brenda of Manville. She will be deeply missed by six cherished grandchildren: George E. Snook, III, Lesley Anne Ferris, Kimberly Fleming, Justin Wilk, Gregory Snook, Jr. and Shannon Snook and her five adored great grandchildren: Ethan and Gavin Snook, Margaret and Katie Ferris and Sadie Fleming.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, February 11 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, February 12 from 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12 beginning 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Helen will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
