Delmar, DE- Isabelle S.(Lorek) Owsik, 90, entered into eternal life on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delmar, Delaware surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Castle Hayne, NC, daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie Lorek, she settled in Delmar, DE two years ago after residing in Manville, NJ most of her life.

Isabelle was a faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. She served as a devoted advocate for her beloved son Joe, which prompted her to spend countless hours volunteering and fundraising for the ARC of Somerset in Manville. Isabelle loved to cook and bake for her loving family and was also known as the neighborhood Avon lady and Stanley products representative.

In addition to her parents, Isabelle was predeceased by her beloved husband John F. Owsik and her loving daughter Sophie Parker.

Isabelle leaves behind her four loving and devoted children: daughter Frances Torlish of Laurel, Delaware; sons: John H. Owsik of Ramsey, Frank A. Owsik of Manville and Joseph A. Owsik of Griggstown. She will be deeply missed by fourteen cherished grandchildren and five adored great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, January 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 22nd from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will begin 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday, January 22nd followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
