Manville, NJ- James F. Marnell, 77, entered eternal life on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital-Somerset with his loving family at his side.  Born and raised in Hazleton, PA to the late Anthony and Anna (Skawinski) Marnell, James settled in Manville in 1967.

Jim faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  Later, he worked for many years for the Johns Manville Corporation, and most recently worked part time for Adesa Corporation. He was a social member of VFW Post #2290 in Manville, and was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan.

Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brother Joseph in 2014.

Jim leaves behind his devoted wife of 52 years, Gloria (Keller) Marnell.  He will be greatly missed by his loving children, Anthony Marnell and wife Maria of Hillsborough and Teresa Semenza and husband Anthony of Lattimer Mines, PA.  He will also be missed by his dear sister Eugenia Gabriel of Hazleton, PA, and sister-in-law Elaine Marnell of Wayne, PA; his cherished grandchildren; Matthew, Grace and Olivia Marnell; and Danielle, Nicole and Michael Semenza, as well as many nieces and nephews.
