Manville, NJ- James P. Stanislaw, 72, entered eternal life on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at his home in Manville with his loving family by his side. Born in Newark, NJ, son of the late Demeter and Mary (Bugal) Stanislaw, he was a lifelong resident of Manville.
James faithfully served his country with the United States Air Force as an airman first class. He retired after many years of employment as a technician with PSE&G in North Plainfield. James was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church in Manville. He enjoyed golfing, sports, and was an accomplished craftsman in woodworking creating numerous items and furniture.
James is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-six years, Barbara Ann (Mac Gillivray) Stanislaw. He will be deeply missed by six dear brothers and sisters; Daniel and Dolores Stanislaw, Nancy and Tom Collins, Ronald Stanislaw, Donna and John Provel, Linda and Ken Hopper and Doreen Stanislaw and Robin Wernik; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, November 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Panikhida and on Wednesday, November 23 from 8:45 a.m. until 9:15 a.m.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 23 beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the 10:00 a.m. funeral service at Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 605 Washington Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835 with Fr. Ken Ellis officiating. Committal words and interment will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James' memory to Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church, 249 South 7th Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835.
