Manville, NJ- Jane (Quigley) Mole, 100, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Mongo, IN, daughter of the late Lester and Iva Jane (Huss) Quigley, she moved to Manville in 1926.

Jane volunteered to be in the Women's Army Nurse Corps during World War II. She went to England on the Queen Mary and served two years of active duty in Braintree, England at the 121st Army Station Hospital. When she returned to America, she went home on the Queen Mary and served a third year in the Army. Jane was an RN Graduate of Newark City Hospital. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Manville and the George Taylor Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Easton, PA. Her patriot was John Huss. Jane was also a homemaker, enjoying time spent in the garden taking care of the flowers, and she also enjoyed sewing clothes for family and friends and was an avid knitter.



Besides her parents, Jane was predeceased by her beloved brother, George Quigley in 2004.



Jane leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews including, Nelson Quigley, M.D. and his wife Lynn of Dana Point, CA, Rose Jamieson and her husband Paul of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Antoinette Di Bella and her husband Michael of LasVegas, NV. She will be deeply missed by many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, November 17 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A graveside service along with military honors will be held on Monday, November 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Neshanic Cemetery, 688 Amwell Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844 with Pastor Greg Cercone of Emmanuel Baptist Church officiating.
