Janice Lillian (née Shearer) Kupplmayr, 78, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, New Jersey. Janice was born in Somerville, New Jersey, daughter of the late James and Lucille (née Boock) Shearer, she was raised in Manville, New Jersey. After marriage she moved to Lebanon, New Jersey, and then settled in Raritan, New Jersey.
Janice graduated from Manville High School with the Class of 1965. She commenced her professional journey in the banking sector, ultimately serving as a branch manager at Bank of America in Manville. Following her retirement from banking, she transitioned to a role as a bookkeeper at Body Art Collision Center in Garwood, New Jersey. Family time held significant value for Janice. During her residence in Manville and Raritan, she was a member of the Finderne Reformed Church located in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
In addition to her parents, Janice was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Kupplmayr in 2010.
Janice is survived by her loving Goddaughter and cousin, Lisa, whom she regarded as her own child, along with her husband Sean Lyon and their children Caleigh, Colin, and Claire. She will be dearly missed by her dear cousins Harold Boock, Cathy Franzoso, and Patricia Cakirer, her husband Omer and their children, as well as many other beloved cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, located at 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Chris Kile of Neshanic Reformed Church officiating. A graveside service will take place at Mount Laurel Memorial Park, located at 1000 South Church Street, Hazleton, PA 18201.
