Califon, NJ – Jerome "Jerry" Piszkowski, 77, entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ with loving family by his side.  Born in Manville, NJ, son of the late Adam and Anna (Severyn) Piszkowski, Jerry resided in Manville until entering the United States Navy where he was stationed on the USS Lake Champlain from 1956-1960.

After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he was employed by RCA and spent 18 months working on the DEW-line, a Distant Early Warning Radar Line, in Thule, Greenland.  Subsequently, he spent the majority of his career in warehousing and distributions working in various management positions.   For the past five years, Jerry was a dedicated repair technician at Hickory Healthcare in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

His stubborn yet optimistic personality contributed to his being a hard worker, and he believed there was nothing he couldn't do.  His kids and grandkids were his passion. Jerry adored his three children and his good heart led to him taking care of everyone. He loved football especially the New York Giants.  In his spare time Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and working on his home.

Besides his parents, Jerry was predeceased by four sisters; Dot Piszkowski, Joan Emily Piszkowski, Frannie Bernotas, and Lou Farris.  Jerry is survived by three loving children, Denise Piszkowski, Lauren Dahl, and Jeremy Piszkowski.  He will be deeply missed by four dear siblings, Patty Bacon, Greg Piszkowski, Leona Kita, and Dean Peach; and three cherished grandchildren, Alex Dahl, Kimberly Briggs, and Dominique Dahl.  He was cherished by many nieces and nephews, in-laws, family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, December 27 from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m.

At the family's request, the disposition will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry's name to the American Lung Association of NJ, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083
