Hillsborough, NJ- Joan Bernice (Mandeville) Galaini, 86, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Arlington, NJ, daughter of the late John and Genevieve (Kennedy) Mandeville, she had resided in Flagtown prior to settling in Hillsborough.

Joan was a faithful communicant at Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Somerville. Joan was an avid reader and especially loved spending time with her family.



Joan is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-four years, Joseph Elias Galaini; nine loving children, Joyce Evon-Galaini of Debary, FL, Janice Fasig of Manville, Joseph Phillip Galaini of Palmer Township, PA, James Galaini and his wife Barbara of Flemington, Jack Thomas Galaini of Hillsborough, June Galaini of Hillsborough, Jeff Galaini of Hillsborough, Jay Galaini and his wife Donna of Annandale, and Jerry Galaini of Hillsborough; dear sister, Claire Mandeville of Florida and dear brother John Mandeville of Bridgewater. She will be deeply missed by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.


Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 and at the family's request, disposition will be private.
