Manville, NJ – Joan D. ( nee Zydallas) Mazur, 83, entered into eternal life on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Somerset, NJ with her loving family by her side. Born in Somerville, NJ, daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (nee Mihok) Zydallas, she was a lifelong resident of Manville.

Joan retired after many years of dedicated employment at Somerset Medical Center (Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Somerville. She was a member of the Manville Senior Citizen's Club and really enjoyed Manville Recreation exercise classes. She was also a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville.

Besides her parents, Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter in June of 1986.

Joan is survived by her loving children, daughter, Lisa and her husband Ted Lecko of Manville, sons, Richard Ferguson of Whitehouse and Bruce Ferguson of Manville, sister, Dorothy Rembelles of Somerset and brother, Charles Zydallas and his family of LaPlace, Louisanna. She will be deeply missed by four cherished grandchildren, Peter Henry Lecko, Vanessa Ferguson, Slade Bonge, Renee Macombie. Joan also leaves behind her nieces and their families; Christina Lands, Michelle Miller, Danielle Basilone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, March 13 from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, March 14, 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville.  Interment will take place on Saturday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
