Somerset, NJ-Johanna M. (Baccello) Futchko, 90, entered into eternal life on Monday, July 11, 2016 at her residence with loving family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie (Maer) Baccello, she was raised in Manville, NJ, moved to Denver, CO, and later settled in Somerset, NJ.

Johanna retired from RWJ-Somerset (Somerset Hospital) as Head Nurse of the Nursery.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough, NJ and loved spending time with her family and watching Western movies.

Besides her parents, Johanna was predeceased by her beloved husband John Futchko in 2010; her brothers John and Joseph Baccello, and her forever missed son, John Anthony Carvatt.

Johanna is survived by her devoted children; Karen Baron and husband Edward of Somerset, and sons; Willard and Kirk Carvatt, both of Littleton, Colorado. She will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren; Kevin and Ryan Baron, Cory and Billy Carvatt, and Bryan Zaccardi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Saturday, July 16 from 8-10 a.m. A Panachida will service will start at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Ed Cimbala officiating, followed by the funeral service at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Johanna's name to your local animal shelter.
