Obituary

Manville, NJ—John N. Terepan, 76, entered eternal life on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at home surrounded by loving family. Born in Pringle, PA, son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Schalatta) Terepan, he was a lifelong resident of Manville.



John was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force as an airman 1st class after faithfully serving his country from 1957 -1963. He retired as a custodian from the Hillsborough Board of Education and had previously been employed as a technician with Devro in Somerville.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by two dear siblings, Helen and William Terepan.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of thirty-eight years, Janice Mae (Geer)Terepan with whom he joined hands in marriage on September 25, 1976; loving daughter, Kristen Breese and her partner, Michael Murphy of Manville; four dear siblings, Danny Terepan of Sweetwater, TN, Robert Terepan, Marion Terepan and Bernadine Abood all of Reynoldsville, PA. He will be deeply missed by three cherished grandchildren, Katelyn, Rachel, and Colin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, March 5 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5 at 8:30 p.m. with Fr. Edward Cimbala of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough officiating. At the family's request the disposition will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington DC 20077-7127 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
