Shohola, PA- John R. Terracciano, Sr., 78, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Manville, son of the late Ralph and Filomena (Pirozzi) Terracciano, he resided in Manville most of his life before settling to Shohola, PA in 1991.

John was honorably discharged from the United States Navy having faithfully served his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Johns Manville Corporation as a heavy equipment mechanic after 27 years of employment and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. From 1967-1973, John served as Assistant Scout Master with Boy Scout Troop #193; he was a dedicated fireman for fifty-two years having exempt status with Fire Company #3; member of Thomas J. Kavanaugh Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2290; former charter member of BPOE #2119 and communicant of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, all of Manville. After settling to Pennsylvania, John became a communicant of St. John Neumann Church in Lords Valley, PA and a member of the American Legion Post #139 in Milford, PA. John and his wife Marion worked for 17 summers at Camp Netimus in Milford, PA where he will always be remembered as a "fix it and do all kinda guy". He was also very proud of his outdoor railroad display that he kept on his front yard and very fond of boating and the outdoors.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his three dear siblings: Frank Terracciano, Josephine Michno and Gertrude "Dolly" Longo and by his adored niece Cynthia Giraldi.
John leaves behind his beloved wife, Marion B. (Wisniewski) Terracciano; loving children, son John R. Terracciano, Jr. and wife Susan of Bridgewater, daughter Lisa A. D'Amore and husband John of Belize, Central America; dear brother Ralph T. Terracciano, Jr. and wife Barbara of Toms River. He will be deeply missed by his three cherished grandchildren Michael, Rachael and Robert and by his many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, April 10 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, April 11 from 9:30-10:00 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11 beginning 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Bridgewater.
