Manville, NJ- John E. Zujkowski, 53, entered into eternal life on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Born in Somerville, son of Carl F. Zujkowski and the late Margaret (Kurnik) Zujkowski, he was a resident of Manville all of his life.
John retired in April 2016 after thirty years of dedicated employment with the Somerset County Parks Commission in Bridgewater, NJ as a golf course superintendent. He belonged to the Sons of the American Legion Post #304 in Manville. He was a New York Yankees fan and New York Giants fan. He loved golfing, movies, and spending time with his family, especially his two sons.
Besides his father, John is survived by two loving sons, Jason Zujkowski of Manville and Sean Zujkowski of Manville; his caring former wife and friend, Janice (Stutzman) Zujkowski; and two dear sisters, Maryann Mahilo of Manville and Julia Ramirez of Manville.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Monday, May 23 from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will start at 7:00 p.m. with clergy from Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) officiating.
Committal words and burial of John's cremains will be on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
