John James "Jeff" Zunski, age 81, peacefully passed into eternal life on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (née Widitz) Zunski, Jr. Jeff relocated to Manville, New Jersey during his youth and remained a lifelong resident thereafter.

Jeff dedicated 32 years of his career as a warehouse man at Formica, Corp. located in Piscataway, New Jersey. Following his retirement, he assisted a friend with his painting business. Jeff was an active member of Christ the Redeemer Parish, previously known as Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, in Manville, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. Family was his top priority, and he particularly cherished the moments spent with his four grandsons.

Jeff is survived and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 60 years, Elizabeth (née Pietrzyk) Zunski, whom he had joined hands together on May 15, 1965; two loving sons, John S. Zunski and his wife Colleen of Hillsborough and Bryan Zunski and his wife Karen of Bridgewater, dear sister, Kathe Kolodzieski of Cupertino, California; and four adored grandsons, Darin Zunski, Jordan Zunski, Noah Zunski, and Dylan Zunski; along with many cherished in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, located at 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday, October 17 from 9-10 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17 beginning 10:00 a.m. with a prayer service officiated by clergy from Christ the Redeemer Parish. Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
