Whitehouse Station (Readington Township), N.J. -- Joseph S. Chango, 87, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, N.J. Born in Mt. Carmel, PA, to his late parents, James and Florence (nee Griscavage) Chango, he was raised in Mt. Carmel and moved to New Jersey in 1964.
He attended Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, N.J.
Joseph was a Logistics Manager for JM Huber in Edison before his retirement. Joe was a great sports fan all of his life. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan, going to and watching all of their games. He loved antiquing and had an antique business with his wife, Barbara, after retirement for many years. Joe loved his dogs. He had a great interest in Archaeology. They traveled extensively all of their lives and loved to go to Neil Diamond Concerts whenever they could. Joe was a wonderful dancer, enjoyed all of his family and friends and life in general. He will be sorely missed.
Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his sister, Jean Kijewski, sister, Theresa Kijewski and brother-in-law, Peter Kijewski.
Joseph leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara Ann (nee Wisniewski) of 56 years, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Henry Nerenberg, his beloved niece Rebekah Nerenberg, and many friends and family in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana and Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing and prayers at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, N.J. 08835 on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 7:45-8:30 a.m. with a 9 am funeral mass to follow at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Manville and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 1096 Millstone River Road, Hillsborough Township, NJ.
