Hillsborough, NJ – Joseph B. "Joe" Nowak, 77, entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital--Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Born in Manville, NJ, son of the late Bronislaw and Stasia (nee Zuza) Nowak, Joe spent some of his life in Pennsylvania, and during his military service time was stationed in Germany, and after honorable discharge resided in Hillsborough.

Joe was a senior analyst for the State of New Jersey. He faithfully served his country from 1965-1969 with the United States Army as a first lieutenant and a Pershing missile officer. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his sister, Lucy Kondaki.

Joe is survived by his dear wife of fifty-four years, Marie Rose (nee Blasse) Nowak; two loving sons, Troy Nowak and wife Kathryn of Hagerstown, MD and Tory and his wife Jacquelyn of Bayville, NJ. He will be deeply missed by two cherished grandchildren, Grady and Summer.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835. At the family's request, the funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
