Manville, NJ – Josephine M. (Zachwieja) Liszczak, 96, entered into eternal life on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Franklin Care Center located in Somerset. Daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Pasrupla) Zachwieja, Josephine was born in Beaverdale, PA and has been a lifelong resident of the borough.
She spent her time caring for her family as a homemaker. Josephine was a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in Manville and could always be found reading.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband John who passed away in 1975 and by her dear sisters Julianna Fucio, Sophie Zacek and Helen Karnas.
Josephine is survived by her loving children; John F. Liszczak, Jr. and wife Sharon of Manville, Judy Reed and husband Gerald of Manville and Paul A. Liszczak and Brenda of Jackson Township. She will be deeply missed by her five cherished grandchildren; Melanie, Gregory and Glen Liszczak and Gerald II and Alexandra Reed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 8:00am until the service time.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012 beginning 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
Josephine will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be made in Josephine's name to The Adult Day Center of Somerset County, 872 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
