Obituary

Manville, NJ- Julia D. (Smolinka) Fedorczyk, 82, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at her home in Manville. Born in Somerville, daughter of the late John and Julia (Nemeth) Smolinka, she was a lifelong resident of Manville.

Julia was a homemaker; she loved cooking, baking and sewing. She was a dedicated wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved trips to the beach with her family and going to New York City to see the latest Broadway Shows. Julia was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. She was a member of the social group of lifelong friends called the "Top Hats."

Besides her parents, Julia was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty-three years, Walter T. Fedorczyk who died on August 15, 2011 and whom many considered the "perfect couple"; and by her brother John Smolinka, Jr.

Julia is survived by three loving children; daughter Judy and her husband Ron Rand of Hillsborough, son David Fedorczyk and his wife Marie of Hillsborough and daughter Janet White of Princeton; three dear brothers, Joseph Smolinka and his wife Rose, to whom she was like a sister, Julius Smolinka (and his late wife Gemma) and George Fender and his wife Darlene. She will be deeply missed by seven precious grandchildren, Michael and Sara Fedorczyk; Joey Vazzano and Jill Haas; and James, Julianna and Jessica White.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, April 3 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 4 from 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 4 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Julia will be laid to rest beside her husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be made in Julia's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
