Manville, NJ- Julia (Szibicka) Volinski Kapusniak, 94, entered into eternal life on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Postacute Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, NJ. Born in the Ukraine, daughter of her late father and mother, Anastazia Szibicka, she had resided in Poland before settling in Manville for most of her life.
Julia was a parishioner at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Church) in Manville. She retired in 1982 after twenty-five years of dedicated employment with Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ with the housekeeping department.
Besides her parents, Julia was predeceased by her first husband, Kazimier Kapusniak on February 4, 1974 and her second husband, Vincent Volinski on April 7, 1990; and a son, Kazimier Kapusniak on September 28, 2014.
Julia is survived by two loving children, Peter A. Kapusniak of Maryland Heights, MO and Marie Kapusniak of Somerset who has taken care of Julia her whole life. She will be deeply missed by six cherished grandchildren, Scott, Tina, Angela, Matthew, Elaine, and Jeff and three adored great grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin, and Frankie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, August 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, August 6 from 8-8:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Church) in Manville. Committal words and interment next to Kazimier Kapusniak will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
