Middlesex, NJ – Julia C. (Saullee) Lachac, 97, entered eternal life on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at her sons home in Bainbridge Island, WA. Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Emily (Gentile) Saullee, she resided in Hillsborough until settling to Middlesex in 1982.
Julia was a nursing assistant at the New Jersey Psychiatric Institute in Skillman for many years. She attended church services at Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Middlesex. Her true passion was her family.
Besides her parents, Julia was predeceased by her husband Joseph Lachac in 1982, and two sisters, Concetta Beltramello and Laura Saullee.
Julia leaves behind three loving children, Lillian Thompson of Middlesex, Joseph Lachac of Bainbridge, WA, and Mary Horn of Brooklyn, NY; and dear brother, Frank Saullee. She will be deeply missed by five cherished grandchildren, Deirdre Thompson, Deanna Muniz, Denise Stuhldreher, Edward Thompson, and Danielle Thompson; sixteen adored great grandchildren and five precious great-great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, April 28 from 2-6 p.m. and on Monday, April 29 from 8:00-8:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
