Millstone, NJ- Kazimiera "Kazia" (Kopcio) Legendziewicz, 73, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville surrounded by her loving family. Born in Nowosielce, Poland she was a resident of the Borough of Millstone for over 50 years.
Kazia retired as a quality control specialist with Siemens in Franklin Township. She was a faithful and dedicated communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville and took an active role with many of the church activities. Kazia was also a proud member of the Polish Falcons of America Nest #946 in Hillsborough.
Kazia's beloved husband Joseph S. Legendziewicz joined her in heaven on Saturday, January 22, 2011. She was predeceased by her loving son John Legendziewicz and her dear father Franciszek Kopcio.
Kazia leaves behind her cherished and devoted son and daughter-in-law George and Catherine Legendziewicz of Flemington, a dear mother Katarzyna (Zarow) Kopcio and a loving brother Richard Kopcio both of Kearny. She will be deeply missed by her two adored nieces Regina Wall and Kristen Kopcio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation for Kazia and her beloved husband Joseph at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, January 27 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and on Friday, January 28 from 8-8:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28 beginning 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Together Kazia and Joseph will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Doylestown, PA.
