Larry Gene Good, aged 76, entered eternal life on Friday, July 3, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Harrisenburg, Virginia, as son to the late Roy Edgar Good and Ethel Marie (née Curry) Good. His family relocated to New Jersey during the 1960s, residing in the Finderne area of Bridgewater for a period before residing in Manville, New Jersey, in 1985, where he has remained ever since.

Larry served his country with honor from 1969 to 1970 in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, holding the rank of lance corporal. He sustained injuries due to enemy attacks, which led to an early discharge. For his brave service as a rifleman in combat, he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Additionally, he received the National Defense Service Medal with One Star, the Vietnam Service Medal with One Star, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and a Combat Action Ribbon.

Following his military service, Larry pursued a career as a police officer at the Doris Duke Estates in Hillsborough, where he achieved the rank of sergeant. Subsequently, he continued his professional journey at Johanna Farms in Flemington, New Jersey, for many years. In the late 1980s, Larry transitioned to work as a cable lineman for a cable company in Princeton, New Jersey. Ultimately, after several years of committed service as a property maintenance worker at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, he retired.

In his leisure time, Larry took pleasure in spending time with friends, engaging in shuffleboard, and dining out, among other pursuits.

In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his three brothers, Norman Good, Gary Good, and Roy Good.

Larry is survived by his close friends, Nick and Tommy.
