Califon, NJ – Leona (nee Piszkowski) Kita, 74, entered into eternal life on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at The Chelsea at Bridgewater, Bridgewater NJ.  She was born and raised in Manville, NJ, to the late Adam and Anna (Severyn) Piszkowski.

Leona was an Executive Secretary for AT&T in Bedminster, NJ.  She loved to travel, but family always came first.  Leona was a Eucharistic Minister of St. Luke Parish in Long Valley, NJ and was also a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville.

Besides her parents, Leona was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph in 1991and many brother and sisters.

Leona is survived by her loving children, son Joseph Kita and daughter Charlene Kita. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Ashley Kita and Joseph Scibilia; sisters, Patty Bacon and Geraldine Peach, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, August 12 from 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will follow; beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville.  Interment will take place following the mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
