Somerville, NJ – Linda (DeFazio) Capoocia, 55, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at RWJ-Somerset with loving family by her side.  Daughter of Dolores (Rakauskas) and the late Vincent J. DeFazio, Linda was born in Somerville and raised in Manville before settling to Somerville in 1997.

Linda was a Manville High School graduate and worked for the State of New Jersey, Somerset County court system in criminal case management for 34 years.  She loved to read and bake for her family.  She was especially proud and loved spending time with her granddaughter.

Besides her father, Linda was predeceased by her nephews Vincent and Michael.

Besides her mother, Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony Capoocia; daughters Ashley Inez Capoocia and Gina Marie Capoocia; brother Louis DeFazio and longtime companion Cindy Bryan; sister Karen Payeur (DeFazio), and granddaughter Isabella Rose.  She will also be missed by her cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, November 25 from 2-6 p.m. and on Monday, November 26 from 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 26 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Christ the Redeemer Parish, in Manville.  Disposition will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's memory to the Susan G.
