Manville, NJ- Lorraine M. Kurtz, 69, entered eternal life on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of the late Daniel and Antoinette (Maichez) Kaminski, she resided in Somerset prior to settling to Manville in 1989.

Lorraine retired after many years of dedicated employment at King James Nursing Home formerly in Somerset as a housekeeper. Lorraine's passion was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.

Besides her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband Melvin C. Kurtz and her brother Sonny Kaminski.

Lorraine is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Robert and Jeanne McBride of Milltown, Donald and Sandy McBride of Franklin Park, Johnny and Tracy McBride of South Bound Brook and Debbie and Steve Wurst of Middlesex. She will be deeply missed by her dear brother Daniel "Butchie" Kaminski, Jr. and seven cherished grandchildren.

At Lorraine's request the funeral services will be private.
