Somerville, NJ-- Louis W. Auriemma, Sr., 88, entered into eternal life on April 19, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ.  Born in Scranton, PA, he is the son of the late Andrew C. and Margaret (nee Tenelli) Auriemma.

Louis was employed for over forty years with American Cyanamid in Bound Brook, NJ as a manager.  He enjoyed bowling and golfing but his greatest love besides his family was being a fisherman. He also belonged to the Loyal Order of Moose in Bound Brook and served as governor.

Beside his parents, Louis was predeceased by his beloved wife, Johanna (nee Golden) Auriemma, a daughter, Ann Marie Auriemma and a son, William Auriemma.

Louis is survived by his loving children, daughters, Marybeth Atkinson of Pittsboro, NC, Margaret Hale, Rose Erhard and her husband Edward of Manville, NJ, son's, Andrew Auriemma and his wife, Barbra of Avenel, NJ, Louis Auriemma, Jr. of Slydel, LA,  and  Frances Auriemma and his wife Kathleen of Rapid City, SD.  He will be deeply missed by seven cherished grandchildren and five adored great grandchildren.  Louis is also survived by his dear sisters, Pauline Vantagi of Manville and Catherine Stemphoski of Clarks Summit, PA; along with several nieces and nephews.
