Somerset, NJ- Louis "Lou" Kopsco, 64, entered eternal life on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville surrounded by his loving family after a courageous four year battle with cancer. Born in New Brunswick, son of the late Barney and Georgia (Lewis) Kopsco, he was a lifelong resident of Somerset.
"Laptop Lou" as he was known to his colleagues retired as a computer technician having been employed for the past fourteen years with AT& T in Warren. He was a member of the NRA, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting and taking vacations.
Besides his parents, Lou was predeceased by his dear brother Lawrence Kopsco.
Lou leaves behind his beloved wife of forty-three years Bonnie Jean (Kenvin) Kopsco; two loving children, son David Kopsco and his fiancé Sharon Ann Pfister of Bound Brook, daughter Melissa Kopsco of Somerset; three dear siblings, Robert Kopsco and his wife Pat, Carol DeBlass and her husband Tony, John Kopsco and his wife Linda and by his cherished sisters-in-law Elvira Yeager, Jamie Ferreira, Heidi Kenvin, Tina Kenvin and Janice Kenvin. "Uncle Louie" also leaves behind to cherish his memory many adored nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Monday, February 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
