Somerset, NJ- Margaret (nee Futchko) Popkivich, 98, entered into eternal life on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at home with her daughter by her side.  Born and raised in Manville, NJ, daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (nee Persinko) Futchko, she settled in Somerset upon marriage in 1947.

Margaret was a graduate of Bound Brook High School Class of 1940.   She had thirty-five years of dedicated employment at Ethicon in Bridgewater, NJ as a factory worker.   Margaret was a parishioner of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough, NJ.  She loved to take care of her home, gardening, and shopping.

Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her former husband, William Popkivich; sons, William Popkivich and Robert Popkivich; and all her siblings.

Margaret is survived by her loving daughter, Peggy McCarthy; three cherished grandchildren, Melissa Diane Reyes and her husband Alberto Reyes, William Joseph McCarthy, and Heather Ann Smith; two adored great grandchildren, Roberto Juan Reyes and Nadia Reyes; and many dear nieces and nephews.
