Manville, NJ- Maria (nee Szoja) Dabek, 79, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ.  Born in Zarzecze, Poland, daughter of the late Jozef and Aniela (nee Woloszyn) Szoja, she emigrated from Poland to the United States of America in 2000, settling in Manville.

Maria loved spending time with family; she especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Cooking and sharing her culinary creations with family was a favorite pastime of Maria.  Faith was very important to Maria.  She would attend mass at Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville.

Besides her parents, Maria was predeceased by her beloved husband of thirty-seven years, Franciszek Dabek who died in 1998; and two sisters, Stefania Jarosz and Genowefa Molawka.

Maria leaves behind to cherish her memory four loving children, Wieslaw and his wife Malgorzata of Poland, Anna and her husband Jerzy Maziarz of Manville, Bozena and her husband Jan Dziwak of Manville, and Rafal Dabek and his wife Paulina of Montgomery, NJ.  She will be deeply missed by two dear siblings, Jan Szoja and Janina Palka; eleven cherished grandchildren and sixteen adored great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, May 12 from 6-9 p.m. with the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Fr.
