Hillsborough, NJ – Marie (Ridosh) Barnish, 93, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Born in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Lusczek) Ridosh, she resided in Hillsborough most of her life.
Marie retired in 1988 from Ethicon of Bridgewater, NJ as a pharmaceutical technician. She was an avid New York Mets baseball fan, but her greatest joy was spending time with cherished grandson, Kyle. Marie was a skilled crafter, knitting many gorgeous keepsake afghans for family and friends. Marie enjoyed passions such as polka dancing, local theaters, Broadway, playing bingo and especially, watching her favorite television show, Family Feud. She was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Catholic Church) of Manville.
Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband Walter J. Barnish, Sr., and by dear son, Walter J. Barnish, Jr.
Marie is survived by her loving son, James Barnish of Hillsborough, NJ, cherished grandson, Kyle; and sisters, Kay Wolian, Ann Dorsa, Fran Fierst, and brothers, Frank and Joe Ridosh as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, June 9 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 9 beginning 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 208 Bound Brook Avenue, Piscataway, NJ with Father Jim Considine officiating. Marie will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 1066 Millstone River Road, Hillsborough, NJ on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 12:00 noon. Memorial contributions may be made in Marie's name to help find a cure for Autism in honor of Kyle to the Somerset Hills Learning Institute, Attn: Dr. Kevin Brothers, 1810 Burnt Mills Road, Bedminster, NJ 07921 or visit www.somerset-hills.org .Friday
