Manville, NJ – Marie A. (nee Autocunas) Ulrich, 81, entered into eternal life on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at home with loving family by her side.  Born in New Brunswick, NJ, daughter of the late John J. and Elizabeth (nee Babich) Autocunas, she was a lifelong resident of Manville.

Marie was a graduate of Manville High School with the Class of 1961. She had 28 dedicated years of employment with Cardiology Associates of Somerset County in Bridgewater, NJ as a medical billing specialist. An intelligent woman, Marie was a Mensa member; she enjoyed working through puzzle books, cryptograms, and logic books. She loved reading; her favorite books were crime fiction and mystery novels. She was a phenomenal cook; her home cooked meals will be missed by many.

Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her brother, John G. Autocunas.

Marie is survived and will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, John R. Ulrich, with whom she wed on October 21, 1967 and she spent 56 years of marriage; her loving daughters, Marie V. and her husband, Rick Gallo of Pottstown, PA and Elizabeth L. Ulrich and her husband, Joseph M. DeVito, III of Manville; four cherished grandchildren, Nathan Gallo, Raphael Gallo, Ezra Gallo, and Joseph M. DeVito, IV; and the adored family dog, Duke.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, September 27, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 7:30 p.m. led by Joseph M. DeVito, III. A private graveside service and inurnment of Marie will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
