With heavy hearts, we remember Marie Vaccarella of Manville, NJ, who passed away on April 22 at the age of 77. She was a graduate of Manville High School. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia and Leonard Vaccarella. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Leonard Vaccarella and her sister-in-law, Rosemary.

Affectionately known as "Aunt Re," she was cherished by her nieces and nephews: Melissa Vaccarella; Jim Vaccarella and his wife, Stacey; Craig Vaccarella and his wife, Lauren; and Amanda Kennedy and her husband, Sean. She cared deeply for her four great nieces and nephews who could always make her laugh. Marie was blessed with a large extended family and lifelong friends she considered family. She was supported by a strong network of love throughout her life.

Known for her signature long, manicured nails, Marie began her career as a hairdresser and spent most of her professional life managing a salon in North Brunswick. She took great pride in her work and formed lasting friendships with coworkers and clients over the years.

She found joy in simple routines and familiar comforts, relaxing in the pool, listening to country music, watching her favorite soap operas, and trying recipes she discovered on the Food Network.

She will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to join together for a memorial visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, located at 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home with a memorial prayer service at 9:30 a.m. officiated by Fr. Peter Suhaka. The services will continue with announcements at 11:15 a.m. followed by committal words and inurnment at sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
