East Brunswick, NJ- Mario A. Moro, Jr., 83, entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at St. Peters University Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born in Pittsburg, PA, son of the late Mario and Anne (Del Savio) Moro, Sr., he resided in Palm Harbor, FL for eleven years and Blauvelt, NY for twenty-five years before settling to East Brunswick in 2008.

Mario was honorably discharged from the United States Army having faithfully served his country from 1952-1954 during the Korean War. Mario retired from the Veterans Administration where he was a Pharmacist and was an avid sportsman who enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening and his cat Cleo.

Besides his parents, Mario was predeceased by his beloved son Michael A. Moro.

Mario leaves behind his devoted daughters, Beth Martello and husband John and Donna Turock and husband Drew, all of Hillsborough. He will be deeply missed by his dear sister, Lois Goetz of Martinsville, his former wife, Janice Moro of Franklin Park and his two cherished grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Martello.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835. A graveside service and committal words will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY on July 12, 2014.
