Manville, NJ- Mark Michael Medvetz, 62, passed away on September 16, 2023 at home.  Born in Hazleton, PA son of Barbara Ann (Durchin) Medvetz and the late Michael Mark Medvetz, he briefly lived in Kelayres, PA until the age of five.  He then settled in Manville where he spent the rest of his life.

Mark was a graduate of Manville High School, Class of 1979 and then attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art in Newark, NJ where he earned a bachelor's degree.  He had worked for many years at Walmart in Manville as a sales associate.  Mark loved to play the guitar and enjoyed watching Buffalo Bills football games.  One of his deepest passions was for art, especially drawing and painting.

Besides his father, Michael M. Medvetz, he was also predeceased by his brother-in-law, Michael W. Meusz.

Besides his loving mother, Barbara Ann Medvetz, Mark is survived by his dear sister, Donna Maria Meusz of Manville; and his cherished nephew and Godchild, Michael George Meusz of Columbia, IL.
