Phillipsburg, NJ- Mark Stephen, 66, entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Born in Somerville, NJ son of Joan (Impellizeri) Krawczun and the late Charles Krawczun, he was raised in Manville, NJ before settling to Phillipsburg in 1978.

Mark faithfully served his country from 1969-1971 with the United States Marines having served during the Vietnam War and attained the rank of sergeant but left as a corporal. He was owner and operator of Manor Hair Salon in Phillsburg for forty years. After his retirement he was a craftsman and constructed numerous musical instruments, cigar box guitars, and Native American accoutrement. Mark loved spending time with family and friend; he was thought of as a truly kind man to all who met him.

Besides his mother, Mark is survived by two loving children, Michael Christian Stephen and Rachel Ann Stephen; a dear sister, Susan Stamper; and the entire Impellizeri family.
