Somerset, NJ—Mary A. (Hencoski) Lengyel, 86, entered eternal life on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St. Peter's University Medical Center in New Brunswick. Born in Newark, NJ daughter of the late John and Anna (Kovach) Hencoski, she resided in Metuchen and Fords before settling to Somerset 47 years ago.

Mary retired in 1992 as a secretary with Bank of America in Somerset. She was a communicant of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church in Somerset, a member of the Franklin Township Senior Citizens, Knitting and Swim clubs both in Somerset.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Lengyel on October 30, 2010 after 62 years of marriage.

Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, her four loving children, Michael G. Lengyel of Trenton, Peter J. Lengyel and wife Lynn of Somerset, Deborah A. Aidukas and husband Chuck of Georgetown, TX and Daniel P. Lengyel and wife Dianne of Cary, NC; a dear sister Dorothy Dianna and her husband Tony of Manahawkin. She will be deeply missed by her cherished eight grandchildren and great grandson Noah Kleinbrahm.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, January 5, from 2-5 p.m. and on Monday, January 6 from 10-10:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6 beginning 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Edward Cimbala officiating. At the family's request disposition will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to American Legion Post #12, 429 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.
