Manville, NJ - Mary Covach (Bukovecky) Menapace, 105, entered into eternal life on Sunday, December 18 at Genesis Healthcare. Born to the late Michael and Mary (Roman) Bukovecky, she moved from Pennsylvania to Manville as a young child.

Mary enjoyed polka music and traveling on many pilgrimages with her husband, Stephen. Mary was renown for her meticulous seamstress skills, she loved to wear her fabulous handmade creations. She was also well known for her delicious baked apricot cookies, walnut cookies, as well as pierogies, stuffed cabbage and many other ethnic foods. Spending time with family was one of Mary's favorite pastimes. A devotee to the Blessed Virgin Mother, Mary was a parishioner of St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church of Hillsborough, NJ.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Andrew Covach; second husband, Stephen Menapace and her four siblings, John Bukovecky, Michael Bukovecky, Elizabeth (Bukovecky) Waslin and Anne (Bukovecky) Peters.

Mary leaves behind her beloved caretakers, E. John and Barbara Walzer; many nieces and nephews of the Waslin, Peters, Kalpin and Becker families.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, December 21 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Fr. Jim Badeaux will celebrate the Panachida on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 beginning 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough. Mary will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
