Hillsborough, NJ – Mary Anna Michalowski (nee Garay), 93, entered into eternal life on February 15, 2021 at her home with loving family at her side. Born in Stockton, NJ to the late John Garay and Christine Garay (nee Chulak), she was raised in the Hunterdon Central area of NJ.

Mary retired from Ortho Pharmaceuticals in 1993 after twenty-seven dedicated years. She was a parishioner of Mary Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Spending time with her family brought her the most joy. Her good health and longevity can be attributed to her dedication to healthy living. She was an avid researcher and lifelong student of health and nutrition, and became a health advocate for her family.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward in 1983 and siblings George, John, Ludwig, Emil, Alex and Robert.

Mary is survived by her loving sons; Edward and Jeffrey and her sister Helen Michno. She will be deeply missed by her loving grandchildren; Alexander, Derek and Phillip Michalowski and her five great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, February 19th from 3-6 p.m. and on Saturday, February 20 from 8:30 – 9:15 a.m.

Funeral services will begin on Saturday, February 20 at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Mary Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough.  Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
