Piscataway, NJ – Mary Carol Niezgoda, 73, entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 17, 2022.    Born to the late Stanley and Mary J. (nee Kocay) Niezgoda, she was a lifelong resident of Manville, settling to Piscataway two short months ago.

Mary Carol was a graduate of Immaculata High School, Class of 1967.  She was a very caring and happy person who never complained, having worked for Bank of America in town for many years.  She was a faithful parishioner of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church of Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville.  Mary Carol was very active in the church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and singing in the choir among many other responsibilities.  She was extremely patriotic and a founding member of Marine Corps League Road Detachment #1284 where she served as Chaplin, participated on many committees and volunteered for all events she could lend a hand in.  She loved to crochet, donating countless items to veterans, children in need, hats for cancer patients as well as lap warmers and cuddle blankets to any who needed one.  Mary Carol was known to everyone as an outgoing, friendly person who loved to talk.  She collected cookbooks and was also known for her famous Banana Split Cake.

Besides her parents, Mary Carol was predeceased by her beloved sister Bernadette in 2020.

Mary Carol will be deeply missed by many dear cousins and numerous special friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, November 22 from 4-7 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held on November 30th at 10:00 am at St. Frances Cabrini parish, Netherwood Ave., Piscataway NJ, followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
