Springfield, NJ- Mary (Demyan) Vislocky, 93, entered into eternal life on Sunday, April 30, 2017.  Born on May 13 th , 1923 in Pennsylvania, Mary is the daughter of the late George and Mary (Palahach) Demyan. She spent all of her childhood in Manville, NJ with her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. In 1941, Mary married her first husband Percy Durham. She became widowed in 1951. Then in 1954, she married Vasil (Charlie) Vislocky. Mary and Charlie settled in Linden for over 40 happy years, raising their daughter Eileen there. Mary again became widowed in 1991, and moved to Springfield in 1999, residing with her daughter, Eileen Vislocky Clark, son-in-law, Tom Clark and her granddaughters, Carissa Mary and Alivia Faith.

Mary worked at American Flange, as a Quality Inspector, in Linden for over 25 years, and was a homemaker who took great pride and joy in loving and caring for her family. Mary was a happy, gentle soul, living a life of gratitude, kindness, courage and a love of God. She always saw the good in people. Her life centered around her faith, family and friends. She was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in Manville, NJ and loved going to church.  Mary adored and cherished her granddaughters, Carissa and Alivia and played a significant and profound role in their daily lives. Some of Mary's favorite past-times were reading, cooking, walking in the park, sharing stories of the good old days with her granddaughters, having picnics and tea parties with Alivia and her dog Fluffy, playing bingo and watching the news. She loved family gatherings, enjoying her brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed listening to music, and singing and dancing.

Mary is predeceased by her loving parents, George and Mary Demyan, beloved husband, Vasil (Charlie) Vislocky, and their baby daughter, Kathleen Vislocky, beloved first husband, Percy Durham, dear brothers, Michael and George Demyan, and dear sisters, Anna (Demyan) Kiever, and Helen (Demyan) Majewski.

Mary is survived by, and will be deeply missed by her devoted daughter, Eileen (Vislocky) Clark, and her devoted son-in-law, Tom Clark, of Springfield, NJ; her two cherished granddaughters, Carissa Mary and Alivia Faith, both of Springfield, NJ; her two loving brothers, Stephen Demyan, and his wife Mary of Toms River, NJ, and Charles Demyan, and his wife Elaine of South Carolina; and dear sister-in-law, Anna Vislocky, of Bridgeport, CT.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, May 7 from 5:00 to 7:00pm and on Monday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Panachida will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 8 beginning 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by an 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, 249 South Seventh Avenue in Manville with Fr. Ken Ellis officiating.  Committal words and interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Route 533 Millstone River Road in Hillsborough.  Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to Holy Ghost Church.
