Manville, NJ- Michael C. Clim, Manville Mike to his friends, 61, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 18, 2011 after a long illness. Born in Somerville, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Manville.
Michael retired in 2011 from Merck Pharmaceuticals in Rahway, NJ where he was employed as a pipe fitter for 15 years. An avid gardener and coin collector, Michael loved 50's Doo-Wop and a cappella music.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church, Manville and member of both the Steelworkers Union 4-575, Rahway, NJ and the United Group Harmony Association (UGHA).
Mr. Clim is predeceased by his parents Michael and Stella Stelma Clim and a brother Russell Regiec. Surviving are his beloved wife, of 37 years, Joann L. Clim and his sister Mary Ann Clim, both of Manville, mother-in-law Regina Wrijil and sister-in-law Barbara Jansen, both of Florida, brother-in-law Joseph Wrijil of Massachusetts, 3 nephews, 1 niece and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, July 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 23 from 8-8:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Michael will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
