Manville, NJ – Michael Florek, 32, entered into eternal life on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at home. Born in Somerville, NJ to Henryk and the late Janina (Jugo) Florek, he lived in Manville all his life.

Michael enjoyed his position as an operator for MicroSystems in Somerset, NJ. Fresh water fishing and hunting were his favorite pastimes. He was extremely funny and loved to be the center of attention. He adored spending time with his beloved nieces and nephews. Michael had many friends and was always ready to help others. He was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church)of Manville.

Michael was predeceased by his cherished mother, Janina Florek who passed away on February 17, 2007.

Michael is survived by his devoted father, Henryk Florek of Manville and loving siblings; sister Barbara Khan and her husband Fazal of Piscataway, NJ, and brother Tomasz and his wife Laura Anne Florek of Monroe, NJ. He will be dearly missed by his adored nieces and nephews: Ashley and Nadya Khan; Christian, Patrick and Alyssandra Florek. He also leaves behind his best friend, Zeus.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church), 98 South 2nd Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835 at 9:00am in Manville, NJ on Saturday, October 29, 2016, followed by committal words at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 1066 Millstone River Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.
