Hillsborough, NJ- Michael Limyansky, Jr., 89, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center at Bridgewater in Bridgewater, NJ. Born in Manville, NJ, son of the late Michael and Anna (nee Kmit) Limyansky, Sr., he spent most of his life in Manville moving to Hillsborough in 1985.
Michael faithfully served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired after over twenty-four years of dedicated employment with Okonite Wire and Cable in North Brunswick, NJ, as an industrial engineering manager. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church in Manville. Michael was a volunteer member of the Manville Rescue Squad. He had a passion for meticulously caring for his lawn and vehicles. Spending quality time with family, especially his grandchildren, was a favorite pastime.
Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, Florine (nee Bielinski) Limyansky on October 2, 2015; an infant brother, George Limyansky; and three sisters, Helen, Mary, and Anne "Honchy".
Michael will be dearly missed by his family and is survived by three loving children, Robert Limyansky and his wife Janet of Johns Creek, GA, Donna and her husband David Hill of New Canaan, CT, and Roger Limyansky and his wife Lisa of Hillsborough; seven cherished grandchildren, John, Brent, Sarah, Hope, Brendan, Tyler, and Amanda; and an adored great granddaughter, Elise.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, March 19 from 3-6 p.m. with a 5:45 p.m. Panahida service officiated by Fr. Ken and on Monday, March 20 from 8:30-9:15 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 20 beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral service at Holy Ghost Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church in Manville. Committal words and interment will follow at Holy Ghost Carpatho-Russian Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to Holy Ghost Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, 249 South 7th Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835.
