Hillsborough, NJ– Mohanlal D. Naik, 81, entered into eternal life on February 19, 2018 at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation - Chester Facility in Chester, NJ.  Born in Gandavi, India, son of the late Dayalji and Gajara Naik, he immigrated to the United States of America in 1978 and settled in New Jersey.

Mohanlal was a chemist for Scher Chemicals in Clifton, NJ.  He enjoyed time spent with his family especially his grandchildren.

Mohanlal is survived by his beloved wife, Sharda M. Naik.  He will be deeply missed by three loving children, Sanjiv Naik and his wife Kamini of New Jersey, Jignasa and her husband Tushar Desai of Ohio, and Tejash Naik and his wife Purvi of Florida; many dear siblings; and six cherished grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at the chapel in Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 Route 27, North Brunswick, NJ 08902 on Thursday, February 22 from 1-3 p.m.  Funeral services will take place during the viewing hours with Pundit Subodh Naik officiating.  Disposition will follow the viewing and funeral service hours.
