Obituary

Asbury, NJ- Neil Thomas Warren, 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born in Morristown, NJ, son of the late Harry Warren and Jeanette McCutchen, he was raised in Stirling, NJ, later lived in Bound Brook, NJ, and raised his family in Manville, NJ before recently moving to Asbury, NJ.

Neil worked as a diesel mechanic at Komatsu in South Plainfield, NJ for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his boys, Andrew and Erik, and pridefully followed their sporting activities. Some of his favorite hobbies included collecting heavy equipment models and going to antique truck shows. Most recently, Neil was happiest when spending time with his adored granddaughter, Bailey, who meant the world to him.


Neil is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, Kathy L. (nee Boyd) Warren, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage following their wedding on October 15, 1988; two loving sons, Andrew Warren and his wife, Dr. Frances Cooley of Pittsford, NY and Erik Warren and his wife, Erynn (nee Carr) Warren of Asbury; six siblings, James Warren, Harry Warren, John Warren, Mark Warren, Barbara Doyle, and Denise Adams; his precious granddaughter, Bailey Warren; and eight nieces and nephews.
