Nigel Anthony Greig, age 52, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro in Plainsboro, NJ, surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana, and is the son of Beverly Ann (née Vieiera) and the late Stanley Greig. At the age of 14, he relocated with his family to New York City, NY and had resided in Piscataway, NJ for the past five years.

Nigel was presently employed as a customer service representative for United Airlines, driven by his enthusiasm for the company and aspiring to become a flight attendant. Regrettably, his aspirations were cut short due to illness.

In addition to his loving mother, Beverly, Nigel is also survived by his beloved and dedicated spouse of seven years, Joseph Peter Alonso, with whom he exchanged vows on December 29, 2017; as well as his dear sister, Carolyne.
